CKCreations One Year Anniversary + Calligraphy Workshop
a sparkly, rosy dream. a night to remember.
The sweetest January night I will ever have was made even sweeter by the friends and new friends who commemorated my first calligraphy workshop. The joining together of many female power forces made this event something to behold. I will try to capture the details as best as I can so you can feel the magic too.

Branding come to life from one start-up artist to another
As promised, I am continuing to blog more this year to bring you exclusive details about all of my design processes. As I just finished, Hannah's logo iterations today I thought I would write a post while it is still fresh in my mind.
This coastal queen found her love of the beach while attending college in Wilmington, NC. It was there she discovered her passion for a special process of painting known as Resin Art. This type of art yields from the far away land of Australia and while it is taking over the down-under continent it has yet to be popularized in America. Hannah hopes to accomplish just that. Resin is the process of glazing and sealing wood for surfboards. Hannah takes this process and creates beautiful seaside abstracts that can be brought to the home or commercially, for a fellow lover of the coast.
I had a chance to connect with this fellow girlboss over coffee and discuss how we could use her story and her process to create branding that tells the same story. A feeling of the coast but also a creative company in the making. We collaborated on a few ideas in person and in a pinterest board where I took her inspiration and created several looks for her to choose between as well as a color scheme fit for the sea.
Check out these iterations below. Which one is your favorite?
